With respect, voting will make almost no difference. If everyone on this server voted on all sites every single day, competing servers like nost would need just 10% of their pop to vote once a week to outrank us. Vote sites only attract a certain type of person also, anyone interested in investing hundreds of hours of gameplay will do far more research than looking at a popularity contest. If you really want to promote the server make video's, stream your gameplay or watch others streams. Share the FB group with your contacts and use word of mouth. All IMHO but these vote sites have made no impact in the past even when we had a population of 500+ online, and people making votes daily.

Voting helped for me, I found the server by browsing through the first 100 private wow servers to see if there was anything blizzlike amongst them. And this one seemed the only truly blizzlike server. It might have been a noob thing to do, but if we can attract more noobs to the server I suppose that's fine too :) besides I think the rebirth got a really small share of the people looking for a vanilla server, so it should be easy to attract some more with some advertisment. But that's all speculation :)

Well I have voted again, on all those that are still in existence... the issue is some other servers give rewards for voting. I am sure everyone voted daily it may affect our rankings, but whether that turns into a increase of new players is another thing entirely.

Ublock is tagging a couple of those links as "suspicious". Are those sites safe?
